ABSTRACT

This chapter attempts to strike the very delicate balance of achievable changes/steps which can be done fairly easily, while at the same time avoiding 'sticky plaster' solutions to what are clearly complex issues that warrant depth of consideration. It aims to engage those who are directly affected by colonial dynamics in the international classroom, these Post-it notes are presented as an educational toolkit for the benefit of all involved. They draw on the authors' own experience as a Zimbabwean nursing student in the UK, as well as on suggestions from research participants, who are now qualified nurses reflecting on and sharing their experiences as Zimbabwean students who undertook nursing education in the UK.
