ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on how university libraries differ from the school, college or public libraries that you might already know. It outlines why you need to spend time becoming familiar with your university's online library catalogue, e-books and online journal articles well before your first Geography assessment is due. Getting into the habit of going to the library regularly to study is difficult at first, but the chapter outlines the importance of only using credible, academic sources in your university Geography assessments.
