ABSTRACT
One of the ways to succeed in the first year of your new Geography degree is to get the most out of the lectures. In this chapter, we encourage you to think not only about what you do during a lecture but how you prepare for it and what you do after the lecture is finished. We also encourage you to think about the various approaches that might be adopted by your lecturers and that you can use to get the most out of these lectures.
