In the headlines across the planet today, this morning there are heat waves, record highs, and extreme weather reports. It’s easy to be consumed by gloom on a day like this, to read the weather news, and the education news, and be struck by the weight of a stark ecological and educational footprint. The boot of global educational capitalism is stamping out local varieties, and the planet is being populated with a homogenizing, invasive species: global education reform.
