ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the author discusses Mugambi’s interdisciplinary approach to theology arguing that Mugambi’s scholarship spoke to a wider audience in the biblical and theological guilds because his signature theme of reconstruction was grounded in and informed by critical biblical studies and exegetical perspectives rather than grounded on the study of biblical texts.
