ABSTRACT
The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Nigerian-based Pentecostal denomination which began work in the UK in the mid-1980s. In the last 30 years it has markedly expanded, especially in London, where several hundred of its congregations are based. The congregations predominantly serve the Nigerian diaspora and are most common in areas of Inner London but are making energetic efforts to connect with the wider population.
