ABSTRACT

This chapter highlights the findings of a qualitative study using narrative analysis and Bolman and Deal’s (2013) Four Framework Approach to investigate the work experiences of women’s center professionals in a director role in a student affairs division. This chapter outlines the three major findings of the study, as well as the potential implications for the field of women’s center professionals and concludes with a discussion of how this study’s findings indicate that there is a need to further investigate how these themes contribute to the experiences of women’s center professionals and the ability of centers to continue to grow and thrive on college campuses.
