ABSTRACT

In Chapter 10, we described how strategy formulation and implementation should be considered as an interrelated process. In this chapter we propose a comprehensive strategy implementation framework and elaborate how hospitality and tourism (H&T) businesses can develop and implement formulated strategies or emergent strategies. The chapter can help you to understand the role and importance of each implementation factor and its relationship with other factors, and how the strategy implementation framework can be used for a retrospective analysis of past, current, and future cases of strategy formation.
