ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the question of how fine-grained grounding is. The author puts forward a precise formulation of the question and explores the possible answers by means of notions that he defines for the purpose at hand and of general principles framed in terms of these notions. Along the way, he clarifies the important distinction between worldly and representational conceptions of grounding and shows which role it plays in the granularity issue.
