ABSTRACT
A discussion of a range of paradoxical arguments, leading from apparently plausible, broadly logical assumptions about ground to unacceptable conclusions. It begins by describing the different kinds of arguments of this sort that have been identified in the literature and then surveys the solutions to these puzzles that have so far been proposed, indicating their respective advantages as well as the main challenges they face.
