ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on three ways grounding and ontology are said to relate. The first involves grounding’s ability to provide a safe and sane way of admitting certain kinds of things in our theories. The second involves grounding’s ability to show how we should measure ontological simplicity. And the third involves grounding’s ability to restrict what can exist at non-fundamental levels.
