ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the connection between the truthmaker approach to semantics and the theory of ground. It shows how one might derive the standard clauses of truth-maker semantics from corresponding principles concerning ground; and it also shows how one might employ the methods of the truth-maker approach, in the reverse direction, in providing a semantics for the logic of ground.
