ABSTRACT

Awareness of the need for corporations to increase stakeholder engagement has been raised. The systematic measurement of the many facets of business has been a key contributor to the success of the modern corporation, and it serves as a foundation for the Stakeholder Dashboard. The Stakeholder Dashboard represents an initiative to systematically measure stakeholder perceptions toward the corporation and collect these perceptions into a single dashboard. Friedman and Miles offer a good overview of the contributions to stakeholder analysis from other scholars. Microsoft PowerPoint can serve as a useful tool where a slide or two can be made for each stakeholder with notes on the information gathered. A gap analysis identifies what stakeholder information from a stakeholder analysis is still required. The consultant must determine the level of effort applied to filling in each gap, keeping in mind time and cost constraints.
