ABSTRACT
Kalundborg’s industrial symbiosis came into existence over a period of 25 years (Table 16.1), evolving until its present state which sees partnerships in 19 projects (Fig. 16.1). Today, these 19 different projects concern recycling of water, transfer of energy and recycling of waste products between the six independent symbiosis partners.
