Environmental considerations are key factors in granting loans The bank’s credit policy, which is continuously monitored, states that Deutsche Bank will not participate in financing projects that in its opinion significantly endanger the environment. That includes an examination of the strategic importance of environmental protection and/or environmental risks-for example, possible residual pollution-and these considerations are fully integrated into the analysis process.
