ABSTRACT
In modern society, we have been pursuing economic development that is based on mass production, mass consumption and mass disposal. As a result, we are now facing serious environmental problems. In order to overcome these problems, industrialised countries must strive to reduce their environmental loads by changing their social and industrial structures and building compatible social and industrial systems.
