ABSTRACT

Tessa Tennant co-founded the UK’s first investment fund for sustainable development in 1988. She has worked in the business ever since and stepped down as Director of Henderson Global Investors to pursue the ecological transformation of the capital markets from a different perspective. Tennant has served as Chair of the UK Social Investment Forum as well as on the environmental advisory panel for HRH The Prince of Wales. In 1997, she initiated the Asia Pacific Research project to foster social investment in the region, and the resulting Global Care Asia Pacific Fund was created in 1998.
