ABSTRACT
This case study examines how a small resort property set in a place of natural beauty is taking steps towards a sustainable future. The study focuses on three key themes: stewardship of the property and its environs; commitment to community; and continuity amid change. It provides insight into how smaller enterprises can have a positive impact while managing the challenges of cost, scale and profitability in a highly competitive sector.
