ABSTRACT

Shops bearing the Brunello Cucinelli sign opened on the most prestigious streets in major Italian and foreign cities, and in some very exclusive resorts. Brunello defines himself more as a 'guardian' than the 'owner' of the castle and main buildings close by which, besides being the company's headquarters, have now become a tourist destination thanks to the attraction of a factory outlet store. Brunello's corporate philosophy is expressed by a model which places people at the centre of the production process and allows a sense of participation in the company's success. The company philosophy of the Brunello group is also expressed through great attention to the beauty of the workplace. Brunello personally encourages employees not to stay at the office after a certain hour so they can dedicate time to sport, to cultural and recreational activities, and to their families. An ethical and humanistic entrepreneurial model places people at the centre of the production process.
