ABSTRACT
This case study will show how these relationships came into being, focusing on the people and the motivations that linked them as well as how things evolved over a twenty-year period, enduring the economic cycles of both boom and bust. This is a story about people, and to understand the business model and culture of Lend Lease which enabled this inclusive and enlightened approach to develop in a
sector known for being ‘hard-nosed’, we need to understand the story and personality of its founder.
