ABSTRACT

Women have always hoped to be able to do more for them. But while men controlled women's fertility, a woman's life was out of her own hands. Women are in a way as nasty to men, and as rejecting of them, as men ever were to women. But women are changing their notion of what they require of men; which is why some say there is a crisis in men's roles. Women ran the nursery and kitchen and men went out into the world and brought back news of what was going on. Women in the sixties gained control of their fertility, and more were able to earn, and could support themselves without having to be dependent on men. Men fought back at first and were truly horrible to women, and were amazingly insulting to them, through the sixties and seventies.
