ABSTRACT

I was for some years, in fact from December 1940 until the Liberation, a liaison agent of one of my aunts. I never would have related this period of my youth if friendly solicitations had not made me, in particular those of the Air Forces Escape and Evasion Society, of which I am proud to be a life member. I therefore will make my modest contribution to “the duty of remembering” and, even more simply, to a chapter of our Resistance, one I conducted “in the family.” Here are a few of my memories that were lying dormant in my mind. They will allow the inspiration of one of the principal networks of escape and evasion to Spain, especially of American pilots, to come to life, if only fleetingly.
