ABSTRACT
This concluding chapter seeks to present an overall assessment of the nature of the Productive Welfare (PW) paradigm and highlights some of the key issues arising out of the development of social policy under its auspices. The assessment offered here is based mainly, though not exclusively, on the chapters presented in this volume—chapters which cover a wide range of topics and express differing viewpoints concerning many of the issues.
