ABSTRACT
Neuropsychological practitioners are called on, with increasing frequency, to examine and render opinions about the status of the cognitive functioning and the neuropsychological status of Hispanic subjects. There are some fundamental problems involved in such assignments, and this chapter briefly addresses the more salient difficulties attendant to such evaluations, and in some cases offers ways of minimizing the systematic errors and distortions that may occur when examining Hispanics.
