ABSTRACT
So far, we have identified a number of characteristics that good research questions possess. Four of these characteristics—feasibility, clarity, significance, and ethics—were discussed in detail in chapter 2. The remaining important principle—that good research questions usually suggest a relationship of some sort to be investigated—is discussed in this chapter. We will also introduce two very important concepts in research: variables and hypotheses.
