ABSTRACT
Two 10-year-old boys watch a television cartoon together. They look at the television set; they look at each other; they read comic books. They laugh at a joke and a funny picture from the program. They talk about the story. Although the boys engage in the sorts of activities that they do when they watch television in their homes, they are not at home. They are at school.
