ABSTRACT
Lezak (1989) argued that many patients who have sustained a significant head trauma seem to share a set of neuropsychological deficits that undermine their capacity for social competence in the broadest sense. This observation is often mirrored by family members of the head injured patient, who indicate that the psychosocial problems following closed head injury are among the most troubling sequelae.
