ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the study of epistemological beliefs as an epistemological belief system over the last ten years. If you are new to the field of epistemological belief inquiry, be forewarned. Some of the challenges of studying epistemological beliefs are: (a) facing your own epistemological beliefs, (b) wrestling with your own epistemological beliefs as they come to your consciousness, and (c) realizing that your present-day thinking is only one more step down the road of understanding.
