ABSTRACT
Computer applications in testing and assessment have now been in use for almost four decades. Experience with the application of this technology has resulted in the creation of a substantial body of knowledge. The goal of this chapter is to explore the potential benefits and problems associated with computer-assisted testing and assessment.
