ABSTRACT
I have an especially beloved photograph of Tove Skutnabb-Kangas. In it she is standing in the meadow of her home, Transcultura, near Roskilde, Denmark. It’s an early summer morning and Tove is dressed in her favorite color, blue. Sunlight washes over Tove, the meadow, small trees and the greenhouse in the background.
