ABSTRACT
As professionals interested in research on experiential learning, sooner or later we find ourselves searching for a theory to guide us in our work. That search might happen sooner if we want to start a research project by using theories to guide us in finding a question, developing an hypothesis, and choosing variables to study. That search might happen later if we have already collected information and are trying to assess or interpret those data.
