ABSTRACT
A case-based learning aid is a support that helps learners interpret, reflect on, and apply experiences-their own or those of someone else-in such a way that valuable learning takes place. Case-based learning aids have cases at their core. The creation and importance of case-based learning aids arose out of work done in two disciplines-work in computer science on casebased reasoning (CBR) and work in education on constructivist approaches to education.
