ABSTRACT
The research described in this chapter constitutes the first step in a large-scale study of the professional development of working English as a second language and/or English as a foreign language (ESL/EFL) teachers after graduation from a U.S. masters program. The larger study will examine the lives of 12 graduates from a U.S. masters program over a period of approximately 5 years.
