ABSTRACT
Has intelligence changed over the course of human life on Earth? The scientific study of intelligence is relatively recent, 1 so that we lack data from reliable and valid intelligence testing. Nevertheless, intelligence (however we define it), like life, undoubtedly has an evolutionary pattern (e.g., Bock, 1980; Jerison, 1982).
