ABSTRACT

His face is chocolate brown. His hair is salt and pepper gray. His eyes sparkle with a gratefulness for the life he has been blessed to live. His smile is as eager to connect with a family member or good friend, as it is to greet a perfect stranger. His mouth utters words that marvel at new information, that chuckle at life’s inconsistencies, and that hold steadfast to opinions forged out of the stubborn ways elder men come to know what they know.
