ABSTRACT
The scope of this section is not all-encompassing but is rather designedly selective. What is excluded are those challenges to fingerprinting and its interpretations whose likelihood is of infrequent occurrence. Among such exclusions are matters relevant to crime scene and crime laboratory efforts to visualize latent prints on both porous and nonporous surfaces.
