ABSTRACT
Established under the Police and Justice Act 2006, the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA) was set up to support the Police Service in England Wales by providing expertise in key areas. These include information and communications technology; support for information and intelligence sharing; core police processes; managing change; and recruitment and national training.
