ABSTRACT
This book is the second in a series on workplace violence published by Willan Publishing. The first volume, Violence at Work: causes, patterns and prevention, set a high standard in research and scholarship which we hope has been rivalled by the many excellent chapters found in this second volume. The concluding comments of Violence at Work identified new and emerging types of workplace violence, including, among others, domestic violence spilling over into the workplace, cyberstalking, violence against peacekeepers and international aid workers and violent organizational cultures as key areas for further research and scholarship. This second book has taken up this challenge and includes a number of chapters on these topics.
