ABSTRACT
As British summer time ended that year both Nick and Dominic developed a cold, making them quite grumpy. One statement of advice in the Mothercare diary that week was regarding common illnesses. It read ‘if your baby is ill, you will have to drop everything else and dedicate yourself to looking after him’. We were well experienced in this! All three of us went to communion that Sunday morning where we worked hard to keep Dominic from disturbing the congregation. I felt we should go as he was soon to be christened.
