ABSTRACT
Economic globalization is in effect the globalization of violent forms of agriculture that threaten human health, ecosystems and the welfare of animals. The globalization of agriculture is primarily an economic project to increase corporate control over our food systems and corporate profits from the food chain. This has major cultural and ecological implications.
