ABSTRACT
Many studies have compared the different mechanics, merits and performance of the different RE support schemes, and have concluded that feed-in laws have produced the quickest, lowest-cost deployment of renewable technologies in countries that have implemented them well. This chapter looks at the main support scheme models in use around the world today, and assesses their effectiveness.
