ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the results of a pilot project by Concern and Mango (two international NGOs) to develop a set of practical approaches, called ‘Listen First’, which provide a systematic way of managing ‘downward accountability’. The project took place from 2006 to 2008, involving field trials in six countries and work with over 530 staff and advisors.
