ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the ancestral management system of sacred natural sites in Bandjoun, Cameroon. It identifies stakeholders, presents a typology of these sites based on survey work which identified and mapped them and describes the ancestral management system as well as the threats they currently face. Recommendations are made for measures and actions for the sustainable management of Bandjoun's sacred natural sites and the promotion of ancestral conservation knowledge.
