ABSTRACT

As the world continues to face the cold blows of the COVID-19 pandemic, new realities seem to be marking the tourism ecosystem services, and in the most unexpected and unpredictable manner. This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book offers a glimpse of the different forms of ecosystem services serving the global tourism industry. It addresses ecosystem services from an environmental conservation lens.
