ABSTRACT

This conclusion circles back to the idea of re-tuning the ears to redirect actions and discusses what people gained and gave up as well as the surprises revealed through partnering with learners. This chapter appeals to the transformation that evolves not only for curricular development and student learning but also in educators themselves as they grow and experience paradigm shifts along the way. While deeply personal, attending to issues of embodiment impacts the community at large in developing practices for how to interact and treat each other. This chapter helps look forward to the “what’s next” questions to imagine what might be possible for engaging learners in identifying and negotiating barriers and opportunities to promote physical activity for a lifetime.
