In her chapter Kimberlé Crenshaw states that ‘Intersectionality may provide the means for dealing with other marginalizations as well. For example, race can also be a coalition of straight and gay people of color . . .’ What other coalitions can you identify from activist campaigns? Are there any coalitions that seem especially unlikely or rare? Why do you think that is?
