ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on providing students a hands-on, practical lesson on writing an Implications for Theory section through a structured approach to consider how a study’s theoretical framework is confirmed, challenged, or complicated by its findings. Instructors are provided with a sample graphic organizer and a lesson plan that encourages students to reflect on their own perceptions of theory and creates opportunity for practical experience with creating implications.
