ABSTRACT

Working as a coach, business comes in many ways. The number and variety of companies working in the coaching space have increased hugely over the last few years. Many are independent coaches, or small bespoke companies, and numerous coaching platforms are also entering this space. The intention of the coaching was to get each executive to work on their leadership skills, as each of them had recently taken part in a 360 degree campaign. During the three-way meeting a number of objectives were discussed and decided upon. The multiple layers of contracting created a lack of transparency between both parties and this had a direct impact on the level of trust between the coach and the coaching client, and also between coaching client and boss and coach and partner.
