ABSTRACT
The introduction defines and clarifies key concepts that will be then developed through and elaborated in the chapters of the volume. It will provide a short overview of the recent development of ‘cooperation’ and ‘region-making’ in research and it will clarify the interplay between material and normative elements in the region making process and cooperation. It will also provide an overview of the various contributions covering conceptual and methodological aspects they will cover in the book.
