ABSTRACT
Energy cannot be made; it can only be transformed, and each transformation has an impact on the environment. The only sustainable choice is renewable energy sources. A transformation to renewable energy sources requires a significant increase in efficiency, to provide the same services with less energy input, as well as a massive change of the whole energy and technology system.
